Real Madrid vs Juventus

Two of soccer's giants will face off tomorrow in a Champions League match. Real Madrid, off an impressive win against Malaga, will encounter Juventus. The Italian powerhouse is coming off a disappointing loss, in which they blew a 1st half 2-0 lead against Fiorentina. Real Madrid, who will host the match at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, possesses an offensive fire power led by Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese forward leads all UEFA players with five goals in the Champions League.

On the other hand, Juventus has bolstered their offensive attack with two important transfers- Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente. Juventus also has one of the best mid fields in the game led by Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal. The midfielders will have a tough task stopping the quick counter attack ability that Real Madrid has. Don't forget about the age less goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon. He is still amongst the best goalkeepers in the world.

The "Merengues" will have to be strong on the back line, which is led by acting captain, Sergio Ramos. Real Madrid is favored to win by most, especially playing at home. They need to score first and have others chip in and take off some of the responsibility off of Ronaldo.

  1. Two of my teams are playing but my heart is for Real Madrid today, hopefully we can win so we can come strong to the clasico on saturday and keep our "Paternity" against Barcelona (Haven't lost against them in the last 5 games).
